Bars

SALOON BAR
Popular for après-ski and with resort staff, the Saloon has three bars, a large dance floor, table football and pool table. Two-4-one cocktails from 8pm- 10pm. Regular après music and weekly theme nights.

PACIFIC
A large underground venue with two separate bars.  Perfect for sports-loving British guests, there's Premiership Football on most nights.  The beer is at a reasonable price and check out the several flavours of Absolut Vodka.  A definite stop-off on any tour of Val d'Isère's hotspots.  Music is varied and mainstream.

MORIS PUB
Another bar to make the British feel closer to home.  It's the most English feeling pub in resort.  There are regular events in this spacious venue, from beach parties to live bands most nights after 10:30pm. Tuesday night is a must as Val d'Isere's best band Mullit play all your rock favourites. An extremely lively pub! Also famous for Friday night Fish & Chips!

PETIT DANOIS
A favourite amongst the Scandinavians. Try out the famous Danish "Red Eric" and suffer the consequences the next day!  Sounds range from hip-hop to Euro-dance. Has a lovely casual restaurant section too for early dining.

BAR ALEXANDRA
Located near the Post Office, it's the best snooker and pool venue in town. There's also a top level sound system for great parties.  Ask Phil, the barman, for the best Mojito in town. Phil & Al play an acoustic set on a regular basis, which is well worth seeing.

BLUE NOTE
Next to the Mercure Hotel. A chilled bar serving up all your classic drinks to a mixture of Jazz and funk. Atmospheric and friendly with nibbles and specials at après (3pm-6pm). Definately one of my favourite bars in resort.

FORÊT
Crazy, happy hour rising Stella prices (from 4pm, starting at 3, and up 50c and hour until 7pm) to get the evening started. Mullit play an early set on a Tuesday which is just fabulous!

BANANAS
A favourite of chalet staff in Val d'Isere and a very popular après-ski venue. There are two bars for beer and spirits respectively.  If you have any brain cells left, try out the backgammon with friends.  This is another almost 'feeder' bar to Dick's, with very reasonable beer prices.  Music is varied.

CAFÉ FACE
As well as an excellent après-ski happy hour (if not the  best!) for any of you ski 'clubbing' skiers, Café Face is about the closest you'll get to being back at your Saturday night hangout. Serving free snacks while you listen to live music from 5pm until 2am.

WARM UP
A relaxed lounge bar with free WIFI. Live music many evenings.

UNDERGROUND BAR
New in Val and popular with the French locals, the Underground is Val's most cosmopolitan bar. Have a drink, listen to the live music or DJ' s selection, play pool or backgammon, watch football or extreme ski videos on the TV. A must! On the high street under the Warm Up bar.

CLUBS

DICK'S T BAR
Well, this is the big one! The most famous club in the Alps! For those of you regulars, the Gary Davies signed photo has long gone. There's a large dance floor and three bars with every drink you can think of, from beer to cocktails and, for the millionaires, Krug Champagne.

LE GRAAL
Popular with the French locals, this bar is less touristy than Dicks. Great flashing dance floor! Open until 4am.

DOUDOUNNE
Val's newest club and growing in popularity each season helped by Mullit playing live each week and the Doudounne's collaboratrion with top DJs from clubs such as Ministry of Sound! Open till late every night!
