Grande Ourse
Situated on the edge of the nursery slopes, this is one of the finest restaurants in Val d’Isère.
Clochetons
A fine restaurant. Located slightly out of town in the Chatelard area, this restaurant provides a free taxi service for its customers. A terrific sun trap on a blue sky day!
Perdrix Blanche
Always a popular choice, we particularly recommend the seafood and steaks. Gets very busy.
Bistrot des Cimes
A personal favourite offering a varied menu at reasonable prices. Situated in Galerie des Cimnes opposite the bus station.
Taverne d’Alsace
Situated under the Kandahar hotel, this is another good restaurant, featuring a more Germanic mountain cuisine.
Casserole
La Casserole is renowned for its excellent local dishes in traditional surroundings. Fondue speciality. Has two sittings each evening.
Casa Scara
Opposite the church in the old town, the Casa Scara offers good value and excellent pasta dishes in pleasant surroundings. A good choice for vegetarians looking for a change from pizza!
Lodge
Good value, and often full, The Lodge offers a varied menu including pizzas, steaks and local specialities. A favourite with the locals. Advance bookings recommended.
Petit Danois
Great full English breakfasts. In the evening eat from a varied menu, then join the fun in the attached bar till 1am!

This 17th century chalet has been restored in traditional Savoyard style and serves a variety of French cuisine.
Le Samovar
Le Samovar offers a good choice of dishes, from pizza (including take-away) to local specialities.

A good choice, offering an enormous range of dishes at good prices.
LE FORNET
