Bars & Clubs
Popular for après-ski and with resort staff, the Last Chance is enjoying its final season at the old Saloon Bar before being redeveloped this summer. It has three bars, a large dance floor, table football, and a pool table.
Relocated to replace Cafe Face, opposite Dick's Tea Bar. The New Saloon is popular with the young seasonnaires offering great deals on drinks and weekly themed nights.
A large underground venue with two separate bars. Perfect for sports-loving British guests, there's Premiership Football on most nights. The beer is at a reasonable price and check out the several flavours of Absolut Vodka. A definite stop-off on any tour of Val d'Isère's hotspots. Music is varied and mainstream. Monday night Open Mic is a must.
Another bar to make the British feel closer to home. It's the most English feeling pub in resort. There are regular events in this spacious venue, from beach parties to apres and live bands most nights. An extremely lively pub! Great burgers too!
A favourite amongst the Scandinavians. Try out the famous Danish "Red Eric" and suffer the consequences the next day! Sounds range from hip-hop to Euro-dance. Has a lovely casual restaurant section too for early dining.
Located near the Post Office, it's the best snooker and pool venue in town. There's also a top level sound system for great parties. Ask Phil, the barman, for the best Mojito in town.
Next to the Ormelune Hotel. A chilled bar serving up all your classic drinks to a mixture of Jazz and funk. Atmospheric and friendly with nibbles and specials at après (3pm-6pm). Definately one of my favourite bars in resort.
Ben from the Saloon bar, Jono from Banana bar, Fraser from Dick’s Tea Bar, got together to create The Fall Line. With such a team, it might be a little wild occasionally. The Fall Line offers comfy sofas, wifi, live sport, live music and DJ's, a great atmosphere, and unrivalled cocktails.
A favourite of chalet staff in Val d'Isere, this is a very popular après-ski venue. On a sunny day, the terrace is open and you can still enjoy a beer in the sunshine.
Popular with the French locals, the Underground is Val's most cosmopolitan bar. Have a drink, listen to the live music or DJ's selection, play pool or backgammon, watch football or extreme ski videos on the TV. A must! On the high street under Seccotine.
LES COINS DES AMIS
Fantastic wine bar right off the main roundabout in the centre of town in the Old Town.
Great atmoshpere and service from Jules and his team. The best Genepy in Val d'Isere.
Fantastic apres and late night venue with live music and DJs. Right on the piste, a great location and atmosphere.
BAR LA ROSEE BLANCHE, LA DAILLE
Great friendly service! Perfect for apres drinks straight from the slopes
Well, this is the big one! The most famous club in the Alps! For those of you regulars, the Gary Davies signed photo has long gone. There's a large dance floor and two bars with every drink you can think of, from beer to cocktails and, for the millionaires, Krug Champagne. Open from 11pm kicking off with the After Dinner Club with a live saxophonist.
Val's newest club and growing in popularity each season helped by the Doudounne's collaboration with top DJs from clubs such as Ministry of Sound! Open till late every night!
This (in)famous bar and club sits on the mountain and it accessible either by ski or by ski lift from La Daille. Every afternoon from midday until 5pm with live music and DJs, the Folie Douce has an amazing atmosphere. Expect to dance on the tables!
